Intro
The XR world is fragmented: developers, enterprise buyers and platform companies rarely share a room. XR Creator Con 2026, held in Berlin from 30 June to 3 July, was built to change that. Designed as a hybrid, it paired a global developer hackathon with a parallel business conference. Up to 4,000 developers entered the online qualification, the top 180 came to Berlin for the live finals, and around 185 enterprise guests joined alongside, over 365 people in person.
Enterprise leaders came from BMW, Miele, HORNBACH, Vodafone, Nobilia, KIRA, ERGO, CUPRA (Volkswagen Group), Fielmann and MACH1 (Europa-Park), among many others. They were joined by the leading Spatial Computing platforms, Meta, ByteDance (Pico), Google, Snap and Qualcomm, creating a rare environment where builders, buyers and platforms could meet directly.
Headline sessions included a platform panel on the Future of XR & AI Glasses, with Tino Krause (Meta), Matthias Greiner (Qualcomm), Sami Belmokadem (ByteDance / Pico) and Martin Herdina; and a panel on XR & Smart Glasses in Enterprise, with Matthias Nawrocki (ERGO), Melanie Rupp (Volkswagen Group / CUPRA), Marcus Ernst (MACH1 / Europa-Park) and Simon Graff.
Results
XR Creator Con generated over €250,000 in new-business pipeline during and immediately after the event, significantly strengthened 1SP's relationships with the leading platforms, and reinforced 1SP's position as one of Europe's leading AI Wearables and Spatial Computing agencies.
Looking Ahead
We're exploring bringing XR Creator Con and IFA together from 2027, combining IFA's global enterprise audience with our international developer community to create one of Europe's largest platforms for Spatial Computing, AI Wearables and XR innovation.
